Yuletide 2019
I’ve noted possible/preferred pairings but Friendships/friendship domesticity, found families, expressions of loyalty, non-romantic/intimate love between friends is absolutely my jam for most of these. Also character studies, missing-scenes, and general character exploration.
I generally state my DISLIKES as: Grim/Dark!fic, and major character death (among others). But, Major Character Death is true for two out of four* of my requests. And in the case of IT, I don't want to rule out your ability to write, for ex., a dark, invented/original time Pennywise scared the Losers. I don't want to stop you from writing dark about Becky Le Domas (with her ending). But I wanted to mention that dark for the sake of it is decidedly not my thing.
Now that that's super confusing!
Dear author, thank you so much for signing up! Please know that yuletide season is my favorite, and I just hope whatever you write is fun for you to do so. Below are some general thoughts on the fandoms we might have been matched on. I want to pre-apologize for the length of this letter especially the fandom part. Getting down to something more succinct was beyond my capabilities.

Promare
Lio Fotia, Meis, Gueira
I picked the Mad Burnish three characters because I loved how loyal Meis and Guiera are to Lio and I would really love to see some more of the three of them. Their relationship hits that sweet spot of "found family," but I also couldn't get over how Meis and Gueira see Lio's survival as the most important thing - more important than their own safety. Whatever came next, they were happy that they had literally shot Lio to safety.
I would love to see something central to the three of them. How does Lio react in the aftermath to Meis and Guiera's actions? What does the aftermath look like for Meis and Guiera generally? How do they adjust to work with Burning Rescue? How does Lio adjust to not being one with the Promare, and without the powers he had?
Prompts: Pre-canon moments with the Mad Burnish. Post-canon hurt/comfort. Found family themes. Touch-starved characters and platonic/romantic affection.
Suggested Romantic Relationships: Lio/Galo (though for this context I'd prefer it was secondary or background to the story), Meis/Guiera.
Ready or Not
Grace, Daniel Le Domas, Becky Le Domas
I loved this movie. They're something wonderful about a thriller script that knows how to give the viewer small details about characters that build to a larger picture without dropping a wall of exposition. Of the characters in the film that I would love love to read more about I narrowed it down to Grace, Daniel, and Becky.
Food for thought:
Note: One thing that I liked about the movie was that, once we were in the final act, Daniel hadn't and didn't find motivation to save Grace because he wanted to have sex with her. I like to think that Daniel was a drunken mess trying to talk Grace into running away before it was too late, and it came off as sloppy creepy, and not intentionally the "hitting on" she mentions at the beginning of the film. Which is to say, Grace/Daniel is actual some good shit. But I imagine it more as two exhausted buddy comedy leads, instead of romantic?
i.e. give me the AU where Daniel lives and Grace drags him into her new life plan - using the Le Domas money she regrettably inherited to hunt the devil (etc.)
For this fandom, I picked three characters I'd love to see more about.
Eddie Kaspbrak - themes: comfort in the face of logic. He knows the inhaler is a placebo but being comforted by the habit. Marrying someone who resembles his mother because Derry stole his memories/when things aren't confronted you can fall into harmful situations because they are familiar.
Mike Hanlon - staying because he loves his friends and someone needs to remember. The loneliness, hurt and hope that they'll come back and remember him. What does Mike do after? Themes on starting over late in life being possible.
Bill Denbrough - the absolutely rough introspection of "would my younger self like who I've become?" The pressures of coming back and remembering who he was as a kid - in hindsight realizing the command he had over his friends to fight Pennywise the first time vs. the final confrontation after everything.
Prompts: Would love to see Bill and Mike spend time together. I know that Derry still makes them lose their memories, but honestly anything with them holding onto each other, and finding out who they are now as the past gets blurry would be awesome. Anything Fix-it with the ensemble or summer days - the bright spots the Losers had. The Losers drinking as adults and talking about how they all had a crush on Bill to Bill's surprise (embarrassment?)
Suggested IT pairings: Post-Canon Mike/Bill, Eddie/Richie, Any Loser/Bill (childhood hero-worship, pining and/or unrequited especially tbh), Ben/Bev (as background in this context).
This is where I set you, dear writer, loose with all my favorite tropes. I enjoy hurt/comfort, fluff, humor (especially this time of year), romance - whatever you're comfortable writing G to E is cool! I prefer happy endings, and lots of mutual pining. Really feel free to lean into friends-to-lovers, domestic things/domesticity, "woke up married," secretly dating, fake dating.
I would love to read canon universe Rick/Evy/Ardeth fic. The more domestic and sweet the better. Set anywhere between The Mummy and The Mummy Returns - or even better, post-Mummy Returns getting back together now that Ardeth thinks, 'ok maybe your hellion child is kind of cute and I'd like to try to be all in on this relationship.'
If you're feeling extra brave, imagine the kind of trouble the three of them would have been in if they had all developed some sort of soul mark in the middle of the first movie.
Honestly anything you write here would be a delight. I'd specifically like ot3, but if you feel like writing a coda or missing scene or one of the adventures they had between The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, I am here for it! Also anything where they have to save Jonathan from some bad deal. The more banter the better!

Food for thought:
All Grace ever wanted was a family, and the second she got it (and a mother(in law) who wanted and accepted her long term), oops Satan said they have to kill her. And it was ripped from her hands.
The worst moment of Daniel's life, and possibly a scene from his recurring nightmares, was his mother telling him she was proud of him.
Daniel inherited Becky's ability to placate the rest of the more explosive personalities in their family. We see it the most with Daniel and Alex - I would love to read anything about their dynamic and how because Daniel saw what happened and protected Alex from seeing it played into their choices in the movie.
Becky Le Domas matriarch HBIC - how did she get there? We can extrapolate she was a Dolly Parton type, southern young woman the Le Domas' didn't want. Anything pre-canon for her.

Thank you for getting to the end of this letter! At the end of the day, I'm super excited to read what you come up with! I hope you have fun! Happy Yuletide!
